"The event benefitted us hugely and in so many ways. .... The society aims to run this residential weekend annually to allow any first-year students or other newcomers to get a good grounding in wilderness medicine. Having the support of the SRC to organise and run this event for the first time means that we now have a solid and well tested framework on how to run the weekend in the future."
