SRC Podcast Studio – Now Open for Bookings! 🎉
Want to start a podcast? Need a space to record high-quality audio? The SRC Podcast Studio is here for you! Whether you’re running a club podcast, recording an interview, or just trying something new, our studio in the McIntyre Building has everything you need.
Who Can Use the Studio?
The podcast studio is exclusively for affiliated clubs and societies at the University of Glasgow. It’s completely free to use - just book your slot, bring your ideas, and start recording!
How to Book
- Bookings need to be made at least a week in advance.
- Sessions are available in 2-hour slots, Monday to Friday, between 9 AM and 5 PM.
- You can book up to three sessions at a time. Once you’ve used them, you can book more!
- You’ll need to complete training before using the equipment - if you haven’t done this yet, just let us know when booking.
- We’ll also need a list of everyone attending, including any guests.
To book the studio, complete the online booking form below. We’ll confirm your session by email!
A Few Quick Rules
We want to keep the studio in great condition for everyone, so here are a few things to keep in mind:
- 🍔☕️ No food or drinks in the studio (mics and coffee don’t mix well!)
- 👍 Respect the space and leave it as you found it
- ✅ Keep content appropriate - offensive or discriminatory material isn’t allowed
- 🎙️ Handle the equipment with care - if something isn’t working, let us know
- 📆 If you need to cancel, give us at least 24 hours’ notice at events@src.gla.ac.uk.
