Overview

The Intersociety 48 hour challenge aims to bring together people within and out with all the societies involved. It is an opportunity to get creative fast, offering a chance to relax and destress through a fun medium. We will provide all the equipment, meaning you can get your hands on professional cameras, alongside a £50 budget per short film. Your film will then be shown at a dedicated premiere (with a Cocktail party dress code)! Free live music, free food, all within a night to celebrate your teams hard work. ALL FOR FREE!!

This ticket will enter you into weekend 2 of the event, 7th-9th, where on the Friday (the 7th) we will all meet in JMS 743 for the introduction to the challenge. You will meet your teammates, bond as a group, begin the script writing process, and prepare for the weekend to come. A genre, line and other briefs will be supplied here too.

From Saturday, you can pick up the equipment as early as 08:00 and get your filmmaking on in your own decided way. Sunday is suggested as the day for editing, yet there is no right or wrong in filmmaking. Hand in is before 23:59 that evening, with the challenge ending there (that is, until the big premiere on the 14th of March, where we will announce the winner...)

All attendees must follow the GUSRC Events Code of Conduct: https://www.glasgowunisrc.org/policies/events-conduct/
