Overview

Join us for our Annual Queerfest, where we host a full day of events at
Queen Margaret Union to raise funds for charity in honour of LGBT
History Month! This year, all proceeds from Queerfest will be going to
Evergreen, a counselling and support service currently in development to
support trans youth in Glasgow. Tickets can be purchased here on our
SRC site, or on the door, where both card & cash is accepted.

The Queerfest line-up is as follows:
PUPPET MAKING: 12:00-14:00 @ QMU BISTRO
GAMES w/ GUGS & Nintendo Society: 15:00-16:30 @ QMU
GAMES BAR
LGBTQ+ DISABILITY PANEL w/ Disabled Students' Society, Turner
Syndrome Support Society: 16:45-18:00 @ QMU BISTRO
KARAOKE: 19:00-21:30 @ QMU GAMES BAR
There will also be a stall selling pins handmade by the GULGBTQ+
Committee & a bunch of cute queer stickers!

Please note: there will be a bar serving alcohol at the Karaoke event in
the QMU's Games Bar. Whether you'd like to participate in drinking or not
is your choice, but keep in mind that some attendees will be consuming
alcohol.
NO ONE WILL BE TURNED AWAY FOR LACK OF FUNDS. If you would
like to attend Queerfest but are not in a financial position to buy a ticket,
please email LGBTQ@src.gla.ac.uk to request a reduced cost or no cost
ticket.
