Come and join us for an accessible Viniyoga basics class for exam destress!
This free class invites you to step out of your busy mind and into the present moment, using gentle movement, mindful breathwork, and intuitive flow to release stored tension and embrace your body’s unique needs. No prior experience is needed!
This event will be led by the Viniyoga Society and supported by the SRC. Come join us in a safe, nurturing environment to honour your body and spirit. ✨
Whether you're new to yoga or simply seeking a calm, restorative practice, this session is open to all levels. After an hour-long session, we will have tea and coffee available after the class if you would like to stay and connect with your fellow participants. We will provide cups, but you are welcome to bring own mug.
What to Bring
- A mat, towel, or blanket (limited society mats will be available at the event to use on a first-come, first-serve basis)
- An open heart and mind
- Your lovely self!

- Date: Thursday 1st May
- Time: 5:30-7pm (Viniyoga class 5:30-6:30pm; post-class tea/coffee 6:30-7pm)
- Location: Williams Room, McIntyre Building
Accessibility
- Chairs and blocks will be available at the event to adapt poses to meet needs of participants.
- Please note that the room is on the first floor and requires use of a lift if you cannot use the stairs. There is a guide to accessing the venue available via AccessAble including a specific guide on the lift and its specifications.

Important Information
- This event is free and ticketed to ensure everyone has a comfortable experience. Spaces are limited.
- You do not need to be a member of the Viniyoga Society to attend.
- There is a paid ticket option. Funds from this event will go to the Viniyoga Society to support future activities.
