We'll be fishing and teaching people how to fish at Firhill Basin (just behind Firhill Stadium) starting at 13:00! For students who want help finding the spot, we'll meet at 12:30 in front of the GUU so that we can walk there together. Equipment will be available to borrow and there will be guidance on the basics of fishing. If you already have fishing gear or experience, please bring it along! Students wanting to fish should purchase a licence (£8 for the season!) from the SFCA. We'll help you with this at the event! Permits are not required to attend, so if you don't end up buying one, you're still welcome to enjoy time outside, get to know us, and get some fishing tips!
