What better way to start the week than with a traditional Scottish ceilidh dance!

If you're new to Scotland, you might be thinking - what on earth is a ceilidh? A ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) is a traditional Scottish dance night featuring a live band and a whole lot of fun.

On Monday 16th September, in the historic Bute Hall, we'll be hosting a ceilidh with up to 200 participants.

If it's your first time, don't worry as the band and our helpers will show you all of the moves! See you on the dance floor.

This will be a ticketed event - details to be released soon. Get the My SRC app: https://www.glasgowunisrc.org/app/.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER

As this event will involve close contact with other students (dancing) we must ask that you only attend if you're absolutely sure you do not feel unwell in any way before or on the day of the event. As the event contains dancing, it will be pretty active so bear this in mind if you get tired easily and need breaks.

We will have water on site, but no food or alcohol will be permitted. Helpers will escort you to the Bute Hall.

All attendees must follow the GUSRC Events Code of Conduct: https://www.glasgowunisrc.org/policies/events-conduct/
