Overview

Come and join us for our Volunteering & Social Justice Festival in the Bute Hall on Wednesday 18th September, 10am – 2pm. You’ll get the chance to meet some of our amazing community volunteering partners and student-led projects, ask any questions, and find out how you can get involved.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, explore beyond Glasgow’s West End, and make a positive impact in your local community. It’s also an opportunity to enhance your personal & professional development skills and boost your employability. As an SRC volunteer, you can create a personalised skills record, showcasing your volunteering roles, hours, and skills throughout your academic journey. And you may also be eligible to receive formal recognition for your volunteering through our UofG Volunteering Awards, HEAR recognition, and more!

We can’t wait to welcome you to the festival and show all the fantastic volunteering opportunities we have on offer 😊

** The first 100 attendees will receive a free SRC goody bag! **
