Join us for a relaxed yoga session led by Gemma Clark, a prominent Glasgow-based reproductive rights and intersectional feminism activist.
Gemma currently has two petitions being considered by the Scottish Parliament and is a certified yoga instructor.
This event is free to attend with an optional donation (recommended donation £3). Reserve your ticket here.
All funds raised will be donated to Abortion Support Network (charity number 1142120), a UK-based charity which helps people with an uterus in the UK and Europe access abortion healthcare. They very often help people who are in or fleeing abusive relationships, and/or are seeking abortion after sexual abuse. This is why we have chosen to fundraise for this charity during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence.
The campaign Big Give is also matching any funding raised for certain organisations during 16 Days of Activism, including Abortion Support Network. Therefore, the money from this event has the potential to make a big impact on someone's life, and we would love to see you there!
This yoga session will be entry level and no previous experience is required :)
All attendees must follow the GUSRC Events Code of Conduct: https://www.glasgowunisrc.org/policies/events-conduct/.
