Overview

Whether you're a passionate activist or new to the cause, this event is open to all students who want to learn more about the importance of activism in the LGBTQ+ community and beyond.

Design a placard, relax with a film screening, enjoy free snacks, and connect with other students!

What to Expect

  • Placard-Making Stations: Tap into your creativity and make your own placard, expressing your voice on an issue that matters to you. Take it home as a reminder of your own role in activism and social change.

  • Free Soft Drinks, Biscuits, and Popcorn: Sip on soft drinks, snack on biscuits and popcorn, and relax while engaging with others in a welcoming atmosphere.

  • Connect with Students: Show up with a friend or come on your own! This event will allow you the chance to meet new students, as well as be a friendly space to hang out with friends.
