AWS Glasgow is excited to invite you to the fourth event in Women in Surgery series on Tuesday, January 14! This exciting evening will take place at JMS 639 and the WMSB Clinical Skills Suite, featuring inspiring talks and an exclusive, hands-on workshop focused on Transplant and Vascular surgery—specialties with minimal exposure in the undergraduate curriculum, making this event truly unmissable!
Our speakers:
- Prof Julie Brittenden: Professor of Vascular Surgery
- Ms Emma Aitken: Consultant Kidney Transplant and Vascular Access Surgeon at the QEUH
Our hands-on workshops will be revealed soon.
The workshop will be led by the speakers and supported by surgical trainees and registrars, providing a great opportunity to develop practical skills. This will be a rare opportunity to develop practical skills not typically covered in undergraduate training, and we have very limited spaces, and tickets are expected to sell out quickly. To avoid disappointment, please secure your spot as soon as possible!
If you’re interested in surgery or just want to learn more about Transplant/Vascular surgery, we’d love to have you join us. As always, everyone is welcome to attend xx
Yours,
AWS Glasgow xx
