Join us for a moderate walk across the Kilpatrick Hills!

The route is 15km and involves 490m of ascent. It follow small paths across hills so the trail will be muddy and uneven. You can find further information here.

We will be meeting at Glasgow Queen Street station at 9:45am to catch the 10:13am train to Kilpatrick. We expect to be back in Glasgow by 5pm.

We require walking boots to attend this walk; we cannot allow you to walk if you do not have safe, appropriate footwear. As the weather can be unpredictable, we also require sensible clothing including waterproofs and warm layers. We suggest you bring plenty of water, food for the day and any personal medications. This event is for Walking Society members only, please purchase a membership before reserving a ticket. Tickets are limited for the safety of attendees and walk leaders, please do not attend if you have not reserved a ticket. Only once you have a ticket, make sure to purchase an open return train ticket, leaving Queen Street and going to Kilpatrick at the times given above. Alternatively, if you prefer to meet us at Kilpatrick station, please email us to let us know as this helps us to estimate numbers.
