Glasgow Rugby varsity
The Glasgow Rugby Varsity is an annual rugby showcase between Glasgow’s biggest university rivals, University of Glasgow and University of Strathclyde. The event sees a fiercely competitive battle for the Glasgow Rugby Varsity trophies with the men's and women's fixtures taking place in one evening of action packed rugby at Scotstoun Stadium, the home of Glasgow Warriors.
In 2024, the event hosted over 3400 students, in an electric atmosphere and saw the Glasgow Uni Women and Strathclyde Uni Men win their respective matches. We would love to see as many Glasgow Uni students there as possible cheering on their teams to be crowned Varsity champions. Tickets are selling fast so make sure you secure yours!
