About

Glasgow University Gymnastics Club is a friendly club that welcomes members of all abilities.

Our training sessions offer you the opportunity to learn new skills in gymnastics whether this is your first time in a gym or have been training for years. We try to keep our sessions member lead so you can always ask if there is something specific you want to learn.

We also take part in competitions across the UK, but these are entirely optional.

Social Events

We try to hold one big social every fortnight, and also have smaller and non-drinking socials in between. In the past these have included things like, ceilidhs, pub crawls, our annual halloween party and Christmas dinner, karaoke, trampoline parks, climbing and many more!

Training

We train several times a week – please check the Club Sport Training Timetable for details.

Insurance

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the appropriate insurance cover for any activity you take part in.  Upon joining, please check the level of insurance cover we, as a club, provide to you.

GUSA recommends that all students playing high risk sport, go abroad to compete/train, or are playing in governing body leagues, may want to consider/need to take out personal liability insurance, or join the sports governing body to be covered.  Some insurance providers also offer specialist sports cover.
