From the 17. to the 21. of March 2025 we hosted a series of events for the international Neurodiversity Celebration Week! We thank everyone for coming and are making recordings of the talks and discussions acessible online, for everyone that had to miss them.

We had a wonderful Neurodiversity Celebration Week! Thank you everyone for coming, below is a the final list of events that we were able to put together. Below you can find the links to the zoom recordings from the talks so that everybody that missed them can catch up.

Monday, the 17th, 6-8 pm

Tuesday, the 18th, 12pm and 4:30-6 pm

  • As part of neurodiversity week, the Space Planning team hosted a co-design workshop to develop ideas for the delivery of a sensory space on campus. This was an opportunity to get both staff and students involved to assist in providing ideas and contributing to the design of the space. The workshop explored what the best practice model in higher education looks like and what makes a space truly calming and inclusive regarding textures, lighting, layout and sensory spaces.

Wednesday, the 19th, 6-8 pm

Thursday, the 20th, 2 pm and 6 pm

  • Felting Workshop in the Ecohub from 2-4 pm, this was such a success!

  • Community discussion & sharing neurodivergent experiences over pizza at the Ecohub from 6-8 pm ... but instead we wen't to join the protest in town against the disability benefits cuts to stand up for our rights!

Friday, the 21st, 4-6 pm (postponed to the 4th of april, 4-6)
