The GUCVS Journal Club aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among medical students at the University of Glasgow. The field of Cardiovascular medicine goes hand-in-hand with research with a vast pool of groundbreaking and game changing trials shaping the specialty and the practice in which doctors operate. We hope this initiative will create a space for like-minded individuals to share and expand their knowledge as well as create an environment which allows for discussion and growth. All are welcome to attend, there is no pressure to present just come along and listen to some exciting new developments in the world of Cardiovascular medicine!
The topics we will cover this academic year will include; Coronary Revascularisation, Valvular Disease, Electrophysiology and Heart Failure for now!
All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance and being a part of the club will also show great commitment to the specialty from an early point in your career!
