Am I a student carer?
A student carer is any student who has unpaid caring responsibilities for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot cope without their support.
What is the Student Carers’ Policy?
This policy provides advice and guidance to student carers on the support available to them throughout their time at university. It is also used to inform staff who work with student carers of their role in supporting them.
