The Dinner with a Stranger Society is all about bringing Glasgow University students together and providing a society that is centred on making new friends. This society’s concept is essentially friendship blind-dating!
Each month, we'll send out questionnaires to our members. These questions will help us identify your interests and hobbies. We'll then pair you up with a fellow student who shares similar passions and outlooks. Each month, the questionnaire will be centred on a different topic. You and your match will be given each other’s socials and information in order to make plans for dinner.
Think of it as an opportunity to step out of your comfort zone, embrace new experiences, and form genuine connections! On top of building new friendships in uni, socialisation also provides benefits such as reducing stress, boosting cognitive skills, and making university life even more incredible!
