Ace High Society

Ace High Society is dedicated to transforming the perception of poker from a game of chance into a strategic and intellectually stimulating activity. The poker game that we play is Texas Hold'em!

Our mission is to create a welcoming space where students of all skill levels can enjoy poker, form meaningful connections, and contribute to charitable causes.

Through ticketed charity poker events, weekly social gatherings, and networking opportunities with faculty, we aim to foster both personal growth and philanthropy.

With no real money involved, members can compete for leaderboard rankings, prizes, and the chance to select the charity of the month.

We also have open committee seats, offering students a chance to get involved in running the society.

New and existing members will have the opportunity to elect candidates for these roles, so if you're passionate about poker and leadership, this could be your perfect hand!

The standard membership is for anyone who is a student at the University of Glasgow and the associate membership is for university professors, students from other universities (Strathclyde, Caledonian, etc.) or just anyone else who wants to join the society.
