We are an academic society, focusing on surgery and more specifically trauma, orthopaedic and sports surgery. All of us are passionate about orthopaedic surgery and its many subspecialties, and with this society we aim to use our enthusiasm to introduce other students to the specialty!
We’d like to give students the opportunity to learn more about the less-represented fields of orthopaedics, and make some contacts within the field for their future careers.
We plan to do this through various workshops, talks, and other educational events in a joint (no pun intended!) effort with the orthopaedic surgeons across Scotland.
