GU Rocketry design, build and fly high powered rockets at the University of Glasgow. Since our beginning in 2019 we have grown to over 120 members who work on a diverse range of projects all year round. In the last year we have competed at the Mach-23 national launch competition and successfully hot fired Scotland's first student built hybrid engine as well as hosting industry speakers from the likes of Skyrora, ESA and Sophrodyne Aerospace giving our members a unique insight into the Scottish Space Industry.
