The society is set up for undergraduate medical students (although open to all!) with an interest in urological surgery and medical education. Urology is one of the most varied branches of surgery which encompasses the entire urinary tract. One in ten GP referrals are to the specialty, making an essential field to be aware of for all medical professionals. With advances in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, it is a specialty geared towards innovation.
