Communist Society (GUCS)

We are the university's only Marxist-Leninist society, and most genuienly active left-wing society on campus. We believe in advancing the goals of the working-class by engaging students through action and education. You will find us at every picket supporting striking workers, and hosting educationals which broaden our material understanding of the struggles at our university. We also engage in our wider communities for the betterment of society by involvement with trade unions and organisations such as Living Rent.

We follow the political programme of the Communist Party of Britain, Britain's Road to Socialism.
