Welcome to the Gamma '28 Year Club, the official society for second-year medical students at the University of Glasgow, and those scheduled to graudate in 2028.
Our mission is to foster a supportive and engaging community, enhancing both the academic and social experiences of our members. We aim to create a vibrant environment where students can connect, collaborate, and thrive.

Events
All our events are listed on our instagram page, managed by Wid Al Orfali. We host regular social and welfare events for all our members. These range from destress pizza nights to pub crawls. Our Events Officers are Lucy Campbell & Caitlin Gaffney.
End Of Year Ball
Our end of year ball is one of the highlights of our academic year. If you would like to offer suggestions or get in touch about this event, please contact our Ball Representatives Megan Donaldson & Sam Kirkpatrick.
Charity and Fundraising
Every year our society champions for and raises money for a charity nominated by our members. This year's charity has not yet been decided, however if you have suggestions or would like to get in touch about potential collaborations, please contact our Charity and Fundraising Representative Elliot McColgan.
Education
At the Gamma '28 Year Club, we recognize the importance of academic success and peer support throughout the challenges of medical school. Our Education Representatives, Aidan Wright and Innes Crawford, are dedicated to ensuring that our members have access to the resources and guidance needed to thrive.
Welfare
Welfare of all our members is one of the highest priorities of our society. If you would like to rase concerns, please contact our Welfare Officers or alternatively the President/Vice-President of the society. Our welfare officers are Eilidh Baird & Emmanuel Gebreyes.
