Sarah Millar

I’m Sarah Millar and I’m a 2nd year History student.
My main focus as School Representative would be to continue pushing for more useful and appropriately timed feedback for assignments, as well as creating more opportunities for in-person feedback. I’m prepared to work in collaboration with class representatives, course convenors and tutors. Also, I’d like to see there be more collaboration between schools – especially between schools that Humanities students often take classes and do joint-honours in. This could be done on an academic level, but also socially, by working with clubs and societies.
I have plenty of experience working with both the SRC and the School of Humanities. I am currently a General Representative on Council, which has allowed me to gain a better understanding of how important student feedback is, and how this actively leads to positive change on campus. As for the School of Humanities, I’ve been a History class representative for two years now, so I have collected feedback from my peers and liaised this to staff successfully – and as School Representative, I would continue to do so.
I would love to work with you to make sure we get the best out of our School!
