Wesley Chew

Hello! My name is Wesley Chew. I am an Accelerated Common Law student at the University of Glasgow. I speak English, French, Chinese and Japanese. I am the founder of the OECD (International Organisation) Student Alumni Group. At the University of Glasgow, I am the President of the Canadian Law Society at the SRC.
I am running for School of Law Representative to better support students.
Here is what I will do:
- Clearer Communication and Transparency: Improve communication and transparency between students and the academic office to resolve course registration issues.
- Representing the Student Voice: Listen and represent the voices of students to the university.
- Expand Employability: Provide more support and guidance for law students who wish to apply for vacation schemes or traineeships (e.g. mock interviews, CV review, moot court).
- Expand Pro Bono and International Opportunities: Expand international opportunities for students to do pro bono and international work.
I am committed to creating a better campus. With my leadership ability and enthusiasm for law, I have the confidence and ability to bring more positive changes to our school.
Let’s make your ideas happen! Please vote Wesley for School of Law Representative!
