Isabelle John
Hello! My name is Isabelle John, and I am running for the School of Law Representative position. Having held the First and Second Year Class Representative Position and the Deputy Chair position of the Law Student Council, I have already attended several committee and student council meetings. Hence, I have gained the relevant experience to be able to take on this new role competently. I believe these opportunities have provided me with effective communication skills, taking initiative, and confidence.
My commitments… I vow to:
- Keep an open line of communication.
- Aim to respond to everyone’s opinions, views and queries and ensure it gets to the right place to effect change when needed.
Workshop Opening Hours:
- The workshop is an essential resource for a law student and the reduced opening hours has been an important matter in question. I promise to campaign for the extension of these hours.
Unfair Exam Practice:
- I will work towards the removal of unfair exam practice.
Summative Results:
- Students have brought up that generally the release of summative results are delayed, and this is an issue that I hope to rectify.
Thank you for reading my manifesto and feel free to contact me with any questions.
