Ross Whip
Hi! I’m Ross, and I’m a third-year accountancy student. I have recently been involved in volunteering with the SRC to help run several events and would like to get more involved in order to help improve student experience at the university. Therefore, I’m running for Undergraduate Social Sciences Convenor! If elected, I hope to achieve the following:
- Campaign for greater transparency about the return of assessment feedback – for example, by posting target dates for the return of grades on Moodle, next to submission deadlines. I would also seek to encourage lecturers to inform you at the earliest possible opportunity about potential delays to the return of feedback.
- Represent you on a number of committees within the university – such as during Council meetings and the University Senate.
- Deliver regular updates about changes within the College of Social Sciences, as well as the impact that these may have on you.
Thanks for taking the time to read my manifesto, and I hope that you will consider voting for me in the upcoming elections! For a committed convenor who is passionate about improving your experience within the College of Social Sciences, vote for Ross Whip!
