Glasgow University Student Television, GUST, is the student television station made by students, for students.
Founded in 1964, we are the oldest student-run television station in the world! We are affiliated with the National Student Television Association (NaSTA) and broadcast a wide range of programmes, both creative and factual, as well as the annual Welcome Week coverage.
Although you can spot us all over campus in full student TV mode throughout Welcome Week, GUST normally meets twice a week during term time - Mondays and Wednesdays at 5pm. On Mondays we have studio sessions where we film a different programme each week, and Wednesdays are when we hold meetings in which all of our producers share updates about what they’re filming lately and look for cast and crew to join their teams.
As a student media body, GUST is linked to SRC Volunteering, and you can register volunteering hours during your time with us! You can find us in our office in the media wing of the McIntyre Building.
Get hyped for GUST's Welcome Week coverage!
We will be covering events across all four unions and cannot wait to meet our next generation of GUSTies. Keep an eye out for a video every day of the week starting the 11th of September, featuring all 5 days of Welcome Week and our very own annual Fresher's Guide.
You'll be able to watch our content on our Vimeo channel where we'll upload each video and embed it on this page also.
