With a new year comes new opportunities, and that's what the UofG Welcome is all about!
For the UofG Welcome, the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) will be getting together with Glasgow University Sports Association (GUSA) as well as societies and sports clubs to host events to either welcome you back to University after the summer holidays, or welcome you to Glasgow for the very first time!
The UofG Welcome takes place throughout semester one and it all starts with Welcome Week (September 13th – 20st 2024). Our events are open to all new and returning students at the University of Glasgow, with inclusivity at the heart of everything we do. We can't wait to welcome you all and share everything we love about living and studying here in Glasgow!
Some of the highlights you can look forward to include the Welcome Fair and Sports Fayre where you can meet many of our societies and sports clubs, our social events such as the Headphone Disco and the Welcome Ceilidh, tours around campus, taster sessions and student mixers, and a whole host of society events.
